Samsung Releases November 2025 Update for Galaxy M23 5G, A13 5G

Samsung has started rolling out the November 2025 security patch for a few more budget and mid-range Galaxy devices. The latest models to join the list are the Galaxy M23 5G, aka Galaxy Buddy 2, and the Galaxy A13 5G. Since both of these devices are older and not eligible for One UI 8, the update is based on Android 14.

The Galaxy M23 5G, known as the Galaxy Buddy 2 in Korea, has received the November security patch. The update is now live in Korea and carries the build number M236LKSSCEYK1. The device continues to run its final Android version, as it will not be updated beyond Android 14.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A13 5G has begun receiving the November 2025 security update in the Philippines. It comes with the build version A136BXXSDDYK2. Like the M23 5G, the Galaxy A13 5G also picked up its last major Android OS version a while ago, so no new features are in tow.

The November security patch fixes 45 vulnerabilities identified by Samsung, Google, and other partners. These phones are getting those security fixes with their latest updates. Apart from the Galaxy M23 5G and A13 5G, Samsung has already rolled out the November 2025 update for several other budget and mid-range devices, including the Galaxy A34, A36, A06 5G, and A17 5G.
More models, especially the latest flagships and foldables like the Galaxy S25 lineup, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7, should begin receiving the One UI 8-based November 2025 patch soon. If you own any of the devices mentioned above, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to check for updates manually. Tap Install now once the update finishes downloading, and your device will restart with the latest November patch.
