In case you missed it, Apple is working on a new Wallet feature that will allow US users to create a digital ID using their passport. And you may be able to use these at select TSA checkpoints for domestic travel. Now, a new rumor from GalaxyTechie suggests that something similar, along with a few additional features, could be coming to Samsung Pass soon.

Here’s what Samsung Pass may be planning to add, laying groundwork for broader vision

GalaxyTechie lists this version of Samsung Pass as 15.3.01.6, but that is almost certainly a typo. The current public release is v5.2.06.1, which Android Authority agrees too, so the intended version is likely v5.3.01.6. Regardless, the APK is not functional. Passwords do not appear, Samsung Cloud syncing is broken, and key features are unreliable.

Leaked screenshots from the Samsung Pass show ability to store a wide range of sensitive documents, including passports, driver’s licenses, national ID cards, tax records, and addresses. The forms visible in the leak cover standard personal information fields like name, date of birth, gender, issuing authority, expiration dates, and images of both sides of ID cards.

The leaked forms show a clear focus on detailed, structured information. Passport entries include nationality, birth details, and expiration, while tax and invoice forms request TINs, business names, phone numbers, and bank information. Although these fields do not yet appear to support digital verification, they indicate Samsung is laying the groundwork for more advanced identity features in the future.

For now, the leaks provide a glimpse of what may be coming. Samsung Pass seems to be gradually evolving into a tool that can handle more than passwords. Meanwhile, Samsung Wallet continues expanding to include digital car keys, and other secure information. In related news, Samsung Wallet is adding a bunch of features to the Indian version of app, including support for Mahindra eSUVs.
