Samsung Partners with Eyewear Brands to Make AI Glasses Stylish

Samsung has confirmed that it is developing AI glasses based on Android XR. The company has partnered with popular fashion eyewear brands, Warby Parker and Gentle Monster, to bring advanced technology with stylish designs. It’s unclear when the company will make these glasses available in the market, but they will feature multimodal AI for an immersive experience.

Samsung’s first Android XR headset, the Galaxy XR, marks the beginning of the Android XR ecosystem. However, the product is quite bulky, which may limit its appeal. In its Newsroom post, Samsung said, “In collaboration with Google, Samsung is working with pioneering lifestyle brand Warby Parker, known for leveraging technology to create beautifully-designed eyewear and deliver exceptional customer experiences. At the same time, Samsung is also partnering with Gentle Monster to bring stylish, fashion-forward eyewear that blends cutting-edge AI-native technology with cultural influence and design leadership.”

These AI glasses will remain connected with the Android XR ecosystem, bringing advanced XR capabilities with style, comfort, and practicality. At I/O 2025, Google showed how Android XR glasses will work in real-world scenarios. All glasses will feature a camera, microphones, and speakers.
