Samsung has launched the EHS All-in-One, a new high-efficiency heat pump system. It provides heating, cooling, and hot water in a single unit, helping users save energy and reduce costs. The system is being introduced in Europe, the largest market for high-efficiency HVAC equipment.

EHS All-in-One combines comfort with energy efficiency

EHS All-in-One (outdoor unit) uses heat pump technology to generate heat and hot water from air and electricity. This makes it more efficient and eco-friendly than conventional fossil fuel boilers. Samsung says this solution provides indoor heating and hot water for both residential and commercial facilities.

The system packs a bunch of energy-saving functions for the European market. For example, Heat Recovery recycles heat produced during summer cooling instead of discharging it to the outside of the unit. This feature can double the energy efficiency for water heating. Thanks to the use of R32 refrigerant, it has about 68% lower global warming potential than existing refrigerants. Furthermore, AI Saving Mode plays a key role in reducing electricity costs.

The best thing is that the new EHS product fits into various exterior home spaces and offers excellent installation convenience. Unlike the previous model that had two fans, the new unit uses a single fan to achieve a compact design measuring 850mm. The outdoor unit connects to Samsung’s home EHS indoor units (such as the Climate Hub and Hydro Unit) that feature a display. As such, you can monitor indoor temperature, hot water supply, and more at a glance. It provides hot water up to 65°C, even in freezing conditions, and heats indoor spaces down to -25°C.

“We plan to aggressively target the European market with our customized EHS all-in-one products that enhance energy efficiency and ease of installation and use,” said Lim Seong-taek, Vice President of the Air Solution Business Team at Samsung Electronics’ DA Business Division. “In line with the policy to promote the spread of domestic heat pumps, we will introduce innovative HVAC solutions to the domestic market and strengthen our leadership in the global HVAC market.”
