Samsung Isn’t Hiding the Galaxy Buds 4 Anymore

It’s no secret that Samsung could soon unveil the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, likely alongside the Galaxy S26 series in February. We previously took a look at official renders pulled from pre-release firmware several weeks ago. Now, it seems Samsung is no longer trying to keep them under wraps, as the earbuds have surfaced once again.
Here’s a closer look at the upcoming Galaxy Buds 4 Pro
Both SammyGuru’s Josh Skinner and Android Authority’s AssembleDebug found the upcoming Galaxy Buds 4 Pro show up once more. According to both, the earbuds appeared in Samsung’s Tips app, which is also where we previously spotted the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s Privacy Display feature.
What’s more, screenshots shared by AssembleDebug show which features the Galaxy Buds 4 series will offer. These include gesture-based controls such as pinching and swiping. Unsurprisingly, the earbuds will also feature adaptive noise control. Other tips suggest that pairing them with your phone or tablet requires opening the charging case nearby.
We’ve already touched on the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro redesign, which is likely the most notable update this year. Samsung appears to be moving away from the sharp, angular stems used on current models. Leaked images also suggest a revamped charging case that opens fully, exposing the earbuds inside, with their stems pointing outward.
On top of that, the upcoming Galaxy Buds 4 Pro could feature support for Ultra-Wide Band connectivity, while the non-Pro variant may not. This is particularly notable because Samsung does not offer UWB support across all Galaxy phones, limiting it to flagships such as the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series.
