Samsung Health app has been gaining popularity in recent years thanks to its advanced health and fitness tracking features. The app has surpassed 10 million monthly active users (MAU) in the company’s home market, South Korea. This figure may continue to grow as the firm will introduce the AI Health Coach for personalized wellness guidance later this year.

Samsung Health exceeds 10 million monthly active users in South Korea

Samsung’s Health app lets you track health data, such as sleep patterns, blood oxygen levels, and heart rate. However, you need to connect the app with your Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring for a seamless experience. Furthermore, it offers AI-powered insights and personalized coaching to make it easier to build healthy habits. The integration of these cutting-edge features has attracted millions of users.

According to data from WiseApp Retail (via ETNews), Samsung Health reached 10.21 million monthly active users in South Korea last month. This shows the company has further strengthened its position as the country’s leading health management application. The app recorded 9.78 million MAU in 2023 and 9.52 million in 2024. Among the different age groups, people in their 50s secured a larger share of 28.5%.

Samsung now aims to deliver personalized health advice directly to users at home through the AI Health Coach within its Samsung Health app. The feature will let you implement doctors’ recommendations through Galaxy Watch and mobile devices. The company will make the beta version available in the US later this year.

As of now, Samsung Health has around 70 million monthly active users globally. However, after the launch of the AI Health Coach, this figure should increase greatly as more users engage with the platform. Last month, the company acquired the digital healthcare platform Xealth. This will allow Samsung to connect its health ecosystem with more than 500 hospitals and 70 digital health solution providers. The company aims to make a connected care platform that bridges the gap between wellness and medical care.
