So far, so good. Samsung has been rolling out a bunch of updates lately. On one hand, it’s delivering the latest security update to Galaxy phones. On the other hand, it’s pushing the One UI 8.5 beta in full swing. New phones have also joined the program in select countries, pretty much as expected.

It’s not as exhaustive as the previous week (March 1–8), when more than 80 Samsung Galaxy devices picked up updates. But there are a few surprises for sure, and if you own the Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Galaxy Z Flip 7, you probably already know. In addition, Samsung is rolling out the update to Galaxy Fit 3 in more regions. Last updated on March 15.

Samsung expands February 2026 security update, One UI 8.5 rolls out for more Galaxy devices

First, let’s talk about the One UI 8.5 situation. Samsung unveiled the new phones, and they’re officially available. Some of us have been using the latest Galaxy S26 series for more than a week now. It ships with One UI 8.5 out of the box, so the big question is when the update will roll out to older devices. Well, it could happen sooner or later.

Samsung has rolled out One UI 8.5 beta 7 to the Galaxy S25 trio. The Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy S25 Edge aren’t eligible for the One UI 8.5 beta testing yet, and they probably won’t be. But the bigger, better news is that Samsung has also opened the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. That sounds good on paper, but it may also hint at a delay in the stable rollout.

Next, the February 2026 security update continues to roll out, and the list keeps growing. The update is already live for several Galaxy devices. If you see your model on the list but haven’t received the update yet, your CSC might be the reason. Simply put, rollout schedules differ from region to region. Once your Galaxy device appears on the list, though, the rollout has started; it can still take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to reach your device.

We only track the first update release for each model and major regional rollouts every week. If your device is not listed, you can DM @Mohammed_K_2010.

If you see one of your Galaxy devices in the list, the next thing you’ll want to do is check whether the update is available. To do that, head to Settings > Software update. If an update is available, tap Download and install. Once the update file has downloaded, tap Install now. Make sure your device has sufficient battery and is connected to Wi-Fi before proceeding. Stay tuned for our weekly roundups, which we publish every weekend.
