How to watch summer Galaxy Unpacked 2025?
That’s probably the most important part. It’s how you can catch everything in action. We’ll be reporting live as usual, but just in case you’d rather watch it yourself, you don’t need to do much. You can catch all the action on Samsung.com or YouTube through the live stream embedded below (bookmark this page and visit again tomorrow so you don’t lose it). The event starts sharp at 10 AM ET / 2 PM GMT / 3 PM BST / 4 PM CET / 7.30 PM IST / 11 PM KST.
What to expect at summer Galaxy Unpacked 2025?
At the heart of the event will be the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. These will be the direct successors to the current Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. Both models bring substantial upgrades across the board, including the design. The Fold 7 is shaping up to be the thinnest Samsung foldable yet, while the Flip 7 further refines the stylish foldable lineup. Both phones will ship with One UI 8 out of the box.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumored to feature an 8-inch inner display and a 6.5-inch cover display, with cameras similar to those on the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, including a 200MP primary shooter. The Flip 7 is expected to come with a 6.9-inch inner display and a 4.1-inch cover display. They run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite and Exynos 2500, respectively.
In addition to these regular foldables, Samsung is set to introduce a new affordable Flip model at its July 2025 Unpacked. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE lowers the entry point for Samsung foldables, with rumors hinting at a sub-$800 price. It allegedly runs on the Exynos 2400, the Korean firm’s previous-gen flagship SoC that powers the Galaxy S24 series. The FE model may share most of its specs with last year’s Flip 6.
What about the Galaxy tri-fold (or multi-fold)?
There’s little chance Samsung will unveil this product during the summer Galaxy Unpacked event. All leaks suggest a late 2025 release for the tri-fold. However, the company might finally reveal something about it, especially since it confirmed the device during the January Unpacked. Um, something that looked like part of a release roadmap.

Until then, we don’t even have a real name for the device. It could launch as the Galaxy G Fold, Multi Fold, or something else. The device may feature an inward-folding mechanism, meaning it could fold twice. When fully unfolded, the main screen could stretch to nearly 9.9 or even 10 inches. That’s massive, honestly. We’ll eventually get to see what Samsung has been cooking behind the scenes and what other surprises it might have up its sleeve.
Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic
Now, let’s talk about the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic, which are set to make their debut at the July Unpacked. The Classic model brings back the fan-favorite rotating bezel that was sorely missed in 2024’s lineup. The entire lineup gets a redesign, with Samsung adopting the squircle shape introduced with the Watch Ultra last year. The new watches also feature bigger batteries and more storage.
Speaking of the Ultra, Samsung also has a new Ultra model in the pipeline. It isn’t a sequel, though. Instead, the company will introduce a refreshed version with more storage (64GB), a new color option (Titanium Blue), and One UI 8 Watch out of the box. All new watches will ship with Samsung’s Wear OS 6-based update, which brings new health features, enhanced navigation, and a UI overhaul.
Samsung’s Android XR “Project Moohan”
Samsung has shown off its Android XR device, codenamed Project Moohan, on multiple occasions. What a pity, it still doesn’t have a name, but that might change at July Unpacked. While the official launch isn’t expected until Q4 2025, the company may reveal more about its first XR headset tomorrow.
Project Moohan runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2 Plus Gen 2 chip with built-in AI smarts and deep integration of Google’s Gemini AI. The headset supports the entire Android app ecosystem with the Android XR operating system, and early reports suggest immersive versions of familiar apps, alongside gesture-based controls using finger and hand tracking. With a mix of external and inward-facing cameras, plus a host of sensors for real-time eye tracking and environmental awareness, Project Moohan could be a full-fledged spatial computing device.
