Samsung Expands January 2026 Security Patch to Galaxy Tab S11, Tab S9 FE Series

Samsung has expanded the January 2026 security patch rollout to more Galaxy devices. Even though it’s already February, the company continues to push the January patch to the remaining eligible models. The latest additions include the Galaxy Tab S11, Tab S11 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S9 FE, and Tab S9 FE+.
Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S9 FE lineup start getting January 2026 update
Samsung rolled out the January 2026 security patch for the Galaxy Tab S10 lineup last week, and now it’s the successors’ turn. The Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra have started receiving the update in South Korea. The Wi-Fi variant of the Galaxy Tab S11 carries the firmware version X730XXU4AZA7, while the Tab S11 Ultra Wi-Fi equips the firmware version X930XXU4AZA7. As expected, Samsung began the rollout in its home market, Korea.

The company has also released the January 2026 patch for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+. The update is currently live in South Korea. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE Wi-Fi runs on the build version X510XXSADZA3, while the Tab S9 FE+ has X610XXSADZA3.

The January 2026 security patch focuses on system security and stability, fixing 55 security vulnerabilities identified by Samsung, Google, and other companies.
Both the Galaxy Tab S11 series and the Tab S9 FE lineup should also receive the One UI 8.5 update in the coming months. One UI 8.5 is based on Android 16 QPR2, and Samsung will likely debut the stable version alongside the Galaxy S26 series at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. Test builds for all four tablets have already appeared on Samsung’s test servers in multiple regions, suggesting that development is underway.
If your device is listed above and the update has not reached your region yet, it should arrive soon. You can check for the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. After the download finishes, tap Install now to install the package.
