Samsung Starts Delivering Galaxy S26 Ultra Preorders in India

Samsung took the wraps off the Galaxy S26 series on February 25, shortly after which the phones went on preorder in India and elsewhere. Those who wanted one could preorder the Galaxy S26 series through Samsung.com and other retail partners, including offline stores. The promised delivery date was March 6, 2026.

But as it turns out, some preorders are already being delivered, which is actually one day ahead of schedule in select parts of India. I preordered the Galaxy S26 Ultra (512GB) much later than my peers (March 3), and Samsung India, via its courier partner, delivered the unit before 12 PM IST to my Delhi address.

That said, it’s not the same for everyone. Some people who preordered the Galaxy S26 series in India on launch day still haven’t received their units. SammyGuru’s editor-in-chief, Sumit Adhikari, preordered on launch day, and both of his units are yet to ship. Delivery timelines appear to vary depending on location and local distribution schedules.
