Samsung Confirms Galaxy Tab S11 Series Launch Is Coming Soon

Samsung just introduced three new foldables, but its flagship launches for the year aren’t over yet. The company has its next-gen flagship Android tablets — the Galaxy Tab S11 series — in the pipeline. If a recent hint from a company official is anything to go by, the launch could be just around the corner.
Samsung executive hints at imminent launch of the Galaxy Tab S11 series
In a conversation with Android Authority, a Samsung South Africa executive confirmed that new flagship tablets are on the way. “So Samsung will be announcing a (Galaxy Tab) refresh for the range coming through shortly. In line with our traditional cadence,” the company official said.
This suggests the Galaxy Tab S11 series will follow Samsung’s usual tablet launch timeline. It unveiled the Galaxy Tab S10 series in September last year, so the new models may debut around the same time this year. The company is readying the Galaxy Tab S11 and S11 Ultra, with no signs of a Plus model. Last year, it launched the Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra.
Leaks and rumors have already shed some light on the specs of the upcoming tablets. Both models are expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, continuing the trend set last year. Earlier, Samsung shipped its flagship tablets with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chips or its in-house Exynos processors.
The base Galaxy Tab S11 is likely to pack an 8,400mAh battery, while the Korean firm may equip the Ultra model with an 11,200mAh battery. Their screen sizes may come in at 11-inch and 14.6-inch, respectively. They should offer S Pen support, DeX functionality, and One UI 8 software experience out of the box. With a possible September 2025 launch window, we expect more concrete information, including design leaks, benchmark listings, and certification appearances, to surface in the coming weeks.
