At CES 2026, Samsung has announced what many might’ve been waiting for: the Galaxy Book 6 series. The lineup includes the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and Galaxy Book 6, which the company calls its “most advanced AI PC portfolio yet.” There are some meaningful upgrades this time around, particularly in battery life, performance, and design. You guess, Galaxy AI sits right at the center of the experience.
All three Galaxy Book 6 models are powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, codenamed Panther Lake. These chips are built on Intel’s 18A process and are aimed squarely at premium laptops like these. This is Intel’s latest silicon, which the company will formally unveil later today, around 6 PM ET.

The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra sits at the top of the lineup. It comes with a 16-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreen that can hit up to 1,000 nits of HDR brightness. The laptop supports Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with up to 50 TOPS of NPU performance, paired with optional NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 or 5070 Laptop GPUs aimed at creators. Samsung is also promising up to 30 hours of video playback, along with support for fast charging.
The Galaxy Book 6 Pro, available in both 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, takes a more balanced route. It sticks to Intel Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 processors with on-device AI acceleration and uses the same Dynamic AMOLED 2X display found on the Ultra. One notable upgrade this year is the addition of vapor chamber cooling to the Pro models. That’s something Samsung hasn’t offered in this tier before. Battery life is rated at up to 30 hours as well, keeping it on par with the Ultra.
The standard Galaxy Book 6 is geared toward everyday productivity rather than power users. It runs on Intel Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 processors, keeps a lightweight and portable form factor, and focuses on efficiency for all-day use. It still supports the core Galaxy AI features and Samsung’s cross-device tools, just without the higher-end hardware options.
Samsung says the Galaxy Book 6 lineup will go on sale in “select markets” later this month. In the US, however, buyers will have to wait a bit longer, as the company has confirmed a Spring launch instead.
