Redesigned Clock App Now Rolling Out to One UI 8.5 Users

As the year ends, Samsung has rolled out two rounds of the One UI 8.5 beta so far, with the next release expected in 2026. For Galaxy phones running the One UI 8.5 beta, Samsung has also pushed an update to the Clock app. Clock app version 12.5.55.10 is now rolling out, as noted by Tarun Vats on X.
One UI 8.5 gives Clock app a new look, and it’s now rolling out
According to the official changelog, Samsung only says the update “improved and stabilized some features” in the Clock app, without offering any specifics. The update is about 56.17MB in size. If you are on the One UI 8.5 beta, you can install it by opening the Galaxy Store > Menu > Updates.
Looking at the refreshed Clock app, the update introduces clear visual changes along with a few new elements. The most noticeable change is the addition of colorful backgrounds, replacing the plain look used before. These changes had appeared in earlier leaks and are now starting to reach users through this rollout.
You can also see a floating, pill-shaped menu at the bottom of the screen. This redesign looks cleaner and makes the interface easier on the eyes, especially compared to older versions of the app. The new style closely matches what Samsung is doing with One UI 8.5, and a wider release is likely to arrive later as part of a larger One UI 8.5 update.
