Earlier today, we saw marketing images of the Pixel 10a make the rounds online, with at least one since corroborated by Google itself. Google has now announced the Pixel 10a. As it stands, there are no drastic changes compared to the Pixel 9a, although the Pixel 10a does appear a bit flatter.

Google announces Pixel 10a, preorders start February 18

The company dropped a short teaser video this morning that quietly confirms what leaks have been hinting at for weeks, while also locking in a launch timeline. The 15-second clip from Made by Google shows the Pixel 10a rotating into view. Most of it looks clean, aside from the bezels.

Color-wise, the phone appears in a blue-purple shade that feels familiar and closely resembles Google’s existing Iris finish. The teaser’s berry-toned background also hints that more color options are on the way. But as usual, Google is tight-lipped.

As expected, Google didn’t reveal specs, pricing, or hardware details. The teaser leans heavily on the tagline “A phone with more in store, in store soon.” This suggests software features may be doing some of the heavy lifting this year. Based on earlier leaks, tools like Gemini Live and Call Assist could make their way to the Pixel 10a.

Google has confirmed that the Pixel 10a will be available for preorder starting Wednesday, February 18, through the Google Store. Samsung fans may also note that, according to leaks, Samsung will host Galaxy Unpacked on February 25, where it will launch the Galaxy S26 series. That leaves about a week between the two announcements.
