We’re in for a major wave of upgrades coming to our Galaxy phones soon. While testing a leaked One UI 8 build, we spotted several nifty new features headed to Now Brief. It looks like things are only going to get better in the days ahead. Speaking of which, Now Brief might soon start notifying you about package deliveries.

Now Brief could soon start notifying you about package deliveries

What debuted exclusively on the Galaxy S25 series with One UI 7, Now Brief is getting even better. Just yesterday, we learned exclusively that Samsung is working on adding cards for parking spot reminders, smart home alerts, and wearable battery warnings. Today, a report from Android Authority reveals even more big changes are on the horizon.

Tracking your packages is important for many people to avoid losing shipments or having them stolen. Waiting around or constantly checking for updates can be a hassle. Soon, Samsung may simplify this with Now Brief, a feature that will automatically notify you whenever you receive messages about your package deliveries.

Android Authority spotted clues inside Samsung Messages app v16.1.10.7, which explain how it will work with delivery notifications. The feature will show if you have received one or more messages related to your packages during the day. It will even let you know how many delivery messages you have, so you can stay informed without opening every text.

Although not confirmed yet, we think these features are part of the bigger update coming with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7. With foldables launching soon, Samsung will officially release the stable One UI 8 build. These features will likely be a major focus during the July 9 keynote, where Samsung will also talk about One UI 8 and One UI 8 Watch.
