One UI 8 is Now Available for These Samsung Galaxy Devices

Samsung kicked off the One UI 8 (Android 16) rollout in mid-September. As expected, the Galaxy S25 series was the first to receive the big update, followed by other models. The company wrapped up the rollout at the end of November. In between, it launched a few devices with One UI 8 out of the box. Here’s the full list of Galaxy smartphones and tablets currently on Android 16.

Between September and November 2025, Samsung updated the following devices to One UI 8. For some, it’s the final major OS release, while others have many more updates to come.

No other Galaxy device is eligible for One UI 8. However, it’s important to note that Samsung doesn’t push updates worldwide at the same time — it really needs to improve that. Rollouts happen in stages by region, so availability may vary.

For instance, One UI 8 first reached Galaxy S25 units in Korea before expanding to other markets two days later. If you don’t see the update yet on your device, it should arrive soon. You can manually check for new updates on your Galaxy phone by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

These devices run the latest version out of the box

As Samsung wrapped up the One UI 8 rollout, it has already launched several Galaxy smartphones and tablets with the new version. As of December 2, 2025, the following devices ship with the Android 16-based software out of the box.

All Galaxy devices launched in December 2025 or later are expected to run One UI 8 from day one until Samsung starts shipping One UI 9.
