After a series of subtle hints, Samsung appears to be on the verge of officially launching the One UI 8 Beta. Earlier today, attentive users noticed that dedicated community pages for the beta have gone live on Samsung’s regional forums. These pages will serve as central hubs for feedback and updates during the beta program.

Tips app reveals new features and request for feedback

Interestingly, users with devices running an internal version of One UI 8 received a notification inviting them to explore new features. This notification led to the Tips app, where a new section has appeared, featuring a banner asking users to send in feedback and suggestions to help improve the software. Samsung appears to have activated this server-side, further suggesting active preparation for the public beta. At the time of publication, we also noticed that DevOfIpos has corroborated the information.

While Samsung has not yet made an official announcement, recent developments indicate that the One UI 8 Beta will start soon. Traditionally, the beta is first released in seven countries: Germany, India, Poland, the United Kingdom, the United States, China, and South Korea. The Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra are expected to be the first devices eligible to participate. There’s a chance that Galaxy S25 Edge could join the beta, too, but there’s no signs suggesting that yet.

What to expect from One UI 8

Samsung is not planning drastic changes in One UI 8, based on Android 16. Instead, it focuses on refinements and user experience improvements. The exact features are not confirmed yet. Rumors suggest updates to the ‘Now Bar’ and other subtle usability enhancements. The official launch of the One UI 8 Beta seems just around the corner.
