One UI 8.5 Hints at Google’s Magic Cue-Like Now Nudges Feature for Galaxy

The next One UI 8.5 update is slowly turning into one of the most interesting updates in a while. Every few days, a new feature leaks out. Each one hints at how Samsung wants your Galaxy phone to feel more proactive and genuinely helpful in daily use. The latest addition in this wave of leaks is something called Now Nudges.
One UI 8.5 leak hints at a new assistant-style upgrade called Now Nudges
This could be Samsung’s next big Galaxy AI feature after Now Bar and Now Brief. First spotted by Android Authority, Now Nudges in One UI 8.5 will work a lot like Google’s Magic Cue that’s available on the Pixel 10 phones. It learns your routines and steps up when you might need a little nudge to save time or recall something important.

Now Nudges is split into three parts. The first is Recall Important Info. This helps you remember something from your past activity by pulling details from older chats, screenshots, or notes. If you had shared a booking screenshot with a friend, for example, your phone should surface that same information when you revisit the topic later.
Then there is Fill Out Forms Easily. This is Samsung’s way of cutting down on repetitive form-filling across the web. After your phone learns the details you frequently enter on websites, it can automatically fill them in next time. Samsung is testing this feature with apps and sites like Doordash, Expedia, Market Kurly, and Trip.
The last category is Get Things Done Quickly. This one is more action-driven. If a friend sends you a location through WhatsApp, your phone can suggest opening that place directly in Google Maps. If you are reading something in a language you do not know, Now Nudges will prompt you to start a translation.
Another detail worth noting is how wide the support could be. The leaked strings mention popular messaging and social apps, along with early form-filling partners such as Trip, Expedia, Market Kurly, and Doordash. There is still plenty we do not know, and we will likely need to wait for the One UI 8.5 beta or the Galaxy S26 launch to get the full picture.
