New Galaxy S26 Ultra Teaser Highlights Improved Low-Light Video

As the launch of the Galaxy S26 series is just a week away, Samsung continues to tease the flagship’s camera improvements. The company has now released a new teaser that highlights its improved low-light video capture ability, likely for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. This suggests we could see upgrades in nighttime video recording.
Samsung’s latest teaser focuses on AI-powered low-light video
We have already seen a lot of teasers about the Galaxy S26 series camera improvements, including next-level Nightography and improved zoom abilities. Now, Samsung has shifted its focus to low-light video. Shared by Samsung Mobile US on X, the short teaser video carries the message, “Brighten your after hours. 🌙 Can your phone do that? Get ready for the next level of photography with #GalaxyAI to capture your shot even in the lowest lighting.”
As you can see in the video, dark scenes become brighter in real time when low video is turned on in the camera. The company uses the phrase “Sun down. Moon up. Low video on,” to describe that transition. The mention of “Coming 02.25.26” suggests the teaser is tied to the Galaxy S26 series, debuting at Unpacked on February 25.

While Samsung may not bring major camera hardware upgrades this year, the teaser suggests the real improvements come from smarter AI processing. The company credits its Galaxy AI for improving detail in real time while recording video at night. Reports suggest the Galaxy S26 Ultra will retain a familiar 200MP main camera but may feature a wider aperture than the S25 Ultra’s. This will allow more light to reach the sensor, improving low-light performance.
Samsung recently described the Galaxy S26 Ultra as an upgrade that deserves a medal. Hopefully, the 2026 flagship model will bring a host of meaningful upgrades, such as powerful performance, cutting-edge camera technology, and better AI features.
