Latest Galaxy S26 Pricing Leak Suggests No Increase Over S25

Prospective Galaxy S26 buyers may finally have some good news. A new report out of South Korea claims Samsung has finalized pricing for its upcoming flagship lineup, and the company has decided not to raise prices. Despite rising costs across the smartphone industry, Galaxy S26 pricing will remain in line with the S25 series.

Galaxy S26 series may debut with the same price as S25
If the report is accurate, Samsung will launch the Galaxy S26 at a starting price of $799, S26+ at $999, and S26 Ultra at $1,299. These figures mirror last year’s pricing structure, suggesting the company is prioritizing price stability over margin expansion. Leaks also suggest that the base Galaxy S26 will ship with 256GB of storage, double the 128GB offered on the S25. This makes a $799 starting price even more impressive.
In fact, this report comes as a surprise. Industry watchers have been bracing for a price hike. Component costs have increased recently, particularly memory chips. Samsung is also reportedly paying more for Snapdragon processors and advanced camera sensors. However, it has seemingly decided to absorb those headwinds to keep prices flat.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra in late February, with the first sales beginning in March. The latest leak reconfirms leaks that the base model will pack a bigger battery. We might see a jump from 4,000mAh to 4,300mAh. Additionally, the report hints at an upgraded 3x zoom camera, but we do not have specifics yet.
The Ultra model, meanwhile, could debut Samsung’s new Privacy Display technology. This AI-powered feature dynamically manipulates on-screen pixels to limit visibility from off-angles, making the display harder to read for anyone peeking over your shoulder. It’s unclear whether Samsung will extend this feature to other Galaxy S26 models. More details should emerge closer to launch.
