Samsung is gearing up for the launch of the Galaxy S26 series. This launch will also mark the debut of stable One UI 8.5. At the same time, earlier leaks have pointed toward the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 launching in the first week of February. However, based on software activities, the actual release timeline appears slightly different.

Build status indicates a March or April launch for Galaxy A37 and A57

The Galaxy S26 series, running One UI 8.5 stable, is expected to launch on February 25. Other eligible models should start getting the update later on. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 have appeared on Samsung’s test servers, which gives us a clearer idea of when they’ll launch.

The Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 were spotted on Samsung servers across multiple regions. Both devices are running test builds ending with the last four digits AZA*. The letter “A” at the start of the build version represents the One UI version.
If “A” were One UI 8, then “B” should indicate One UI 8.5. However, no “B” builds have appeared so far, even though Samsung is very close to the One UI 8.5 release phase. This strongly suggests that the “A” build itself refers to One UI 8.5.

This means Samsung has likely skipped internal testing of One UI 8 for the Galaxy A37 and A57 altogether. As a result, both devices are expected to launch directly with Android 16 QPR2 based One UI 8.5 out of the box. That means their release will take place after the Galaxy S26 launch.

Based on Samsung’s usual release pattern, the Galaxy A37 and A57 could launch in mid March or possibly slip to early April. Samsung will likely prioritize the Galaxy S26 launch, since releasing mid-range devices alongside a flagship lineup could create unnecessary confusion.

Keep in mind that this timeline is based on past launch trends and current software development. The final decision rests with Samsung. We’ll keep you updated with the latest news on the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 as more details emerge.
