Here’s How Samsung Engineered the Ultra-Slim Galaxy S25 Edge

Regarding performance, the Galaxy S25 Edge delivers the same power and speed found across the Galaxy S25 series. Under the hood, it features Qualcomm’s flagship chipset, Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is capable of on-device AI processing.
To fit the phone’s slim profile, Samsung created a custom thermal system with a 10% larger vapor chamber than the Galaxy S25+. It also introduced a new hole structure in which a portion of the front metal frame was removed. This allows more direct heat transfer from the application processor to the vapor chamber.

Camera
Speaking of the camera, the Galaxy S25 Edge features a 200MP main sensor, offering the Ultra model’s premium camera experience in a sleek form. The company had to reduce the thickness of the main camera by more than 10% through structural optimization. On top of that, the phone’s dual camera layout design offsets the module’s height, allowing the sensor to sit naturally within the frame.
