Galaxy Z TriFold Launched: Price and Availability Details

Samsung has officially launched its first tri-folding smartphone, the Galaxy Z TriFold, a device that has been years in the making. Now that this ambitious project is finally ready for consumers, the big question is its price. As expected, it doesn’t come cheap. Here’s the full breakdown of how much the TriFold will cost and when it will be available.

Galaxy Z TriFold will roll out in phases worldwide, with a hefty price tag

Samsung is taking a gradual launch approach with its new tri-fold device. The rollout begins in its home market, South Korea, on December 12, 2025. The company says customers in Korea will be able to experience the TriFold hands-on at select Samsung stores starting on launch day. This hands-on approach should help customers better understand this unique device before committing to the purchase.

While Samsung hasn’t locked in specific dates for other markets, it has confirmed the availability of the Galaxy Z TriFold in China, Taiwan, Singapore, and the UAE. These regions may get the device before the end of the year. The TriFold is also coming to the USA, but not until 2026. Samsung says the device will be available stateside in the first quarter of next year. 

As of this writing, the Korean firm hasn’t shared any plans for a broader global release just yet. It may be holding off to see how the TriFold performs in initial markets before expanding availability. We’ll likely learn more in the months ahead. We will keep an eye out for further announcements.

As far as prices are concerned, the Galaxy Z TriFold starts at KRW 3,590,400 in Korea, which is equivalent to approximately USD 2,450.
