Galaxy Z Fold 7 Will Offer a 16GB RAM Option Worldwide

As the official launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 draws near, more fine-grained details are beginning to emerge. A new revelation confirms that the 1TB storage variant will feature 16GB of RAM. And unlike earlier reports, this top-tier configuration may be available globally, not just in select markets.

Until now, most leaks suggested the Galaxy Z Fold 7 would offer 12GB of RAM across all variants, regardless of storage capacity. Even when whispers of a 16GB RAM option surfaced, they were largely tied to select markets like South Korea and China. That seems to have changed now, if a listing circulating on X is genuine.

The listing confirms that the global variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 (SM-F966B) will come with 16GB of RAM, but only on the 1TB storage model. The 256GB and 512GB versions will still feature 12GB of RAM, just like the Fold 6. While some may be disappointed that the RAM upgrade isn’t extended across the lineup, the bump to 16GB on the top-tier model is a welcome enhancement for power users.

Samsung will officially unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 7 at its Unpacked event on July 9. It will debut alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Flip 7 FE, Galaxy Watch 8 series, and more. With this latest revelation, the new Fold’s spec sheet is looking even more appealing.

The 16GB RAM option, paired with 1TB of storage, positions the upcoming Fold as an ultimate productivity and multitasking machine.
