Latest Galaxy Z Fold 7 renders confirm key upgrades
We first saw the Galaxy Z Fold 7 through CAD renders, and once again Android Headlines has published what the outlet says could be the official ones. These new images appear to confirm some earlier rumors while disproving others. Let’s take a look at them before going further. These are supposedly in Blue Shadow and Jet Black colorways.
One of the main things the renders confirm is that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be very thin. According to previous leaks, it may measure just 3.9 mm when folded and 8.9 mm when unfolded. That is extremely thin for any foldable currently on the market. Considering Samsung has been emphasizing this aspect in its teasers, there is a strong chance the final device will come close to these figures, if not match them exactly. Thinness and low weight may be two of the key selling points of the upcoming Fold.
The report also states that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature a larger main screen, measuring 8.2 inches. This would be a noticeable upgrade over the previous model, which had a 7.6-inch display. The renders also show a triple-camera setup on the back, although it is still unclear whether one of the sensors will be the rumored 200MP camera. While that specification has not been confirmed, it remains a strong possibility.
Another detail suggested by the renders is the potential absence of the under-display camera. Samsung seems to be moving away from this feature in recent models. There is a higher chance that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will not include it, although it is still possible. What’s for sure, it will pack the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. Reservations could begin as early as next week.
