Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, Fold 6, Flip 6 & TriFold Receive February 2026 Update

After a slower-than-usual start to the month, Samsung is now rapidly expanding the rollout of its February 2026 security update. Following the Galaxy S25 series, the company has begun pushing the latest security patch to its foldable lineup. The Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, Fold 6, Flip 6, and TriFold are all receiving the new update. Once again, the rollout begins in South Korea, but a wider rollout shouldn’t be too far off.
Several Galaxy Z models receive Samsung’s February 2026 update
A few hours ago, Samsung rolled out this month’s security fixes to all five Galaxy S25 models in South Korea: Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge, and S25 FE. Now, the company has released this update for its 2025 and 2024 foldables. The Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and TriFold (2025 models) are picking up the February 2026 update with the firmware build version AZB2. It’s CZB2 for the Fold 6 and Flip 6 (2024 models).
The OTA file size varies depending on the model, but mostly weighs between 400MB and 600MB. The file sizes and Samsung’s official changelogs confirm the update focuses purely on security improvements. It includes the February 2026 patch that fixes 37 vulnerabilities affecting Android OS and One UI components. No new features or UI changes are included, as Samsung is reserving major enhancements for One UI 8.5.
As usual, the rollout has begun in South Korea and is expected to expand to other regions in the coming days. If you own any of the devices mentioned above, you can manually check for the update from the Settings app. Navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and install to see if you have a pending update.
With the latest Galaxy S series and foldables quickly receiving this month’s security fixes, Samsung is clearly making up for lost time. It should bring the February 2026 security update to more devices in the coming days. We will keep you posted.
