Exclusive: Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 One UI 8.5 Beta Forums Go Live

Over the past weeks, One UI 8.5 rollout timing had become very uncertain. New tests builds were popping up for the Galaxy S25 lineup on servers, signaling towards more beta releases. Today, we spotted a Beta Forum for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, which could indicate a possible One UI 8.5 beta release for these models soon.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 One UI 8.5 beta program could start soon
Samsung has set up a One UI 8.5 Beta Forum for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. The pages recently appeared on Samsung Community in Korea and India. They were not live earlier. For One UI 8, Samsung also created beta forums for the Galaxy A35, A36, and A54 before the beta rollout.
Samsung usually sets up beta forums a few weeks before beta releases. So, there is a good chance we may see a One UI 8.5 beta program for these foldables.
So far, no beta builds for these devices have appeared on Samsung servers. Since the forums are already live, Samsung should start testing beta builds soon if the company plans to open a beta program for its latest foldables.
If Samsung decides to release a beta, we may see the first beta build for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 being spotted sometime next week.
As far the beta release for these foldables is concerned, it may begin around mid March. This could delay the One UI 8.5 stable rollout, which may then start around the first or second week of April.
Samsung uses beta forums to take feedback during beta testing. Users can share suggestions, report bugs, and discuss issues with other users. This helps Samsung fix problems and improve stability before the final stable release.
The company has not officially confirmed a One UI 8.5 beta for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 yet. If a beta release does take place, it will be the first beta program for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7.
A situation like One UI 7 is still possible, where beta programs ran for a long time and the stable rollout was delayed. Hopefully, Samsung avoids that this time.
