Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3, A54 Pick Up June 2025 Security Update

Samsung has been rapidly rolling out the June 2025 security patch to a number of devices. Most recently, the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3, and Galaxy A54 have received the June update. It’s currently live in South Korea, which suggests that other regions, such as the US, should see it within the next few days.
June 2025 security update hits Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, and A54
Samsung is rolling out the June 2025 security update to the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy A54, starting with units in South Korea (via SammyFans). The firmware build numbers for the update are:
- Galaxy Z Fold 3: F926NKSS9KYF1
- Galaxy Z Flip 3: F711NKSS9KYF1
- Galaxy A54: A546SKSSADYF1
The update includes over 60 security patches from Google and Samsung. Most of the fixes address Android OS vulnerabilities, while a smaller number are Samsung-specific. There are no new features in this release, but the patch improves system stability and device protection.
This kind of update is routine, but still important, especially for older devices like the Fold 3 and Flip 3. These models are no longer eligible for major Android upgrades, so monthly patches help keep them secure and running smoothly.
To install the update, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. You should make sure your phone is on Wi-Fi and has enough battery before starting the process.
Meanwhile, Samsung has confirmed that One UI 8 will launch next month alongside its next generation of foldables. The Fold 3 and Flip 3 will not receive it, since their software support period has ended. The Galaxy A54, however, is still within its upgrade cycle and is expected to receive software updates through One UI 9, which will be based on Android 17.
