Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Debuts with Flagship Specs, Budget-Friendly Price

Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, its first-ever Fan Edition foldable. Designed to bring foldable technology to a wider audience, this clamshell-style phone delivers premium features at a more accessible price point. It debuted alongside the regular Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7 at Samsung’s Unpacked event.

Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE packs a solid punch

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE keeps the sleek, compact design of its flagship sibling. It features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X folding display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and up to 2600 nits peak brightness. The 3.4-inch Super AMOLED cover screen remains unchanged from the Z Flip 6, offering a crisp 720 x 748 resolution.

Built with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and Armor Aluminum, the phone is IP48-rated for dust and water resistance. The handset measures 165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm when unfolded and 85.1 x 71.9 x 14.9 mm when folded. It weighs just 187 grams, making it pocketable and durable.

Samsung has opted for its in-house Exynos 2400 chip for this model, the same processor used in the Galaxy S24 series. Paired with 8GB of RAM, the device is available in 128GB and 256GB storage variants. The chipset provides flagship-level performance while keeping the price lower than Snapdragon-powered models.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE comes with a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 12MP ultrawide lens, along with a 10MP front camera for selfies and 4K video. It’s powered by a 4000mAh battery, offering 25W wired, 15W wireless, and 4.5W reverse charging. Running on Android 16 with One UI 8, the device is eligible for seven years of updates, meaning it will receive support all the way through Android 23, making it future-proof.

Price and availability

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE costs $899 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Color options include two boring shades: Black and White, with no exclusive colorways available on Samsung.com. Pre-orders are now open on the official website, while general sales kick off globally on July 25, 2025.
