Galaxy Watch Keeps Telling You You’re Stressed? You May Not Be Alone

If you don’t know yet, your Galaxy Watch can help you monitor stress. It measures stress levels by tracking your heart rate and heart rate variability. These readings show how your body responds to stress, keeping you informed. However, many Galaxy Watch users have recently reported receiving high-stress alerts throughout the day, even when they feel fine.

Post One UI 8 Watch update, Galaxy Watch users report continuous stress warnings

Reddit user oHomemCansado (via Android Authority) said they have been receiving “too many stress warnings” after updating their Galaxy Watch 7 to the One UI 8 Watch update. According to them, they did not feel stressed, and the warnings could be arbitrary. Several other users have reported experiencing the same issue. With that in mind, is your Galaxy Watch showing these alerts too?

Whether it’s due to a One UI 8 Watch bug causing multiple stress warnings throughout the day or because Samsung has adjusted the warning levels and detection methods with the new update, we don’t know yet. Samsung has not confirmed either explanation. Let us know if you are experiencing the same issue.

Looking through previous user reports, this does not seem to be an uncommon problem. Many users have said they do not feel stressed, yet their Galaxy Watch indicates otherwise. In my personal experience, even when I set the readings to manual, they are accurate only about half the time. But how can anyone be certain if they are really stressed when stress has become such a regular part of daily life? Regardless, once we have more information, we will update this story.
