Galaxy Tab A11+ Pops Up on Geekbench, Scores Look Decent

The upcoming Galaxy Tab A11+, expected to launch by the end of 2025, has just appeared on Geekbench. The benchmark listings reveal the device’s CPU and GPU performance scores. The Galaxy Tab A11+ will succeed the Galaxy Tab A9+ since Samsung skipped the Tab A10 series. It appears to offer notable performance improvements over its predecessor, and that’s due to the new chipset.
Galaxy Tab A11+ stops by Geekbench, revealing CPU and GPU scores
The Galaxy Tab A11+ packs a Dimensity 7300 chipset inside, at least according to the Geekbench listing, which is an improvement over the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 found in the Galaxy Tab A9+. In the latest Geekbench listing, the Galaxy Tab A11+ (SM-X236B) recorded a single-core score of 996 and a multi-core score of 3150. The build version that the device is running is X236BXXU1AYIF, based on Android 16.
The predecessor of the Galaxy Tab A11+, the Galaxy Tab A9+, had a single-core score of around 950 and a multi-core score of about 2000. While the single-core performance is similar, the multi-core score shows a significant increase of about 50 percent.
When it comes to GPU performance, the Galaxy Tab A11+ scored 2520, while the Galaxy Tab A9+ scored around 1400. That’s a big jump of over 70 percent, which should mean smoother visuals and better gaming performance. But don’t have your hopes too high, as the Galaxy Tab A series is still a budget offering.
Samsung has already announced the Galaxy Tab A11 series, but so far, only the smaller sibling has launched. The Galaxy Tab A11+ will arrive later this year. It will feature an 11-inch display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, a 6.9 mm slim profile. It packs a 7,040mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and still includes a headphone jack.
The Galaxy Tab A11+ also focuses on productivity, offering DeX mode. Samsung promises seven years of OS and security updates. The Galaxy Tab A11+, unlike the smaller Tab A11, will run Android 16-based One UI 8 at launch. Storage options include 128 GB and 256 GB, with microSD support up to 2 TB.
