Samsung’s latest flagship Android tablet lineup, the Galaxy Tab S11, went official yesterday with several notable upgrades. The company is now gearing up to launch a budget model. We are talking about the Galaxy Tab A11 series, which includes Tab A11 and Tab A11+. A fresh leak now reveals its processor and display resolution, suggesting no upgrades in these segments.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 spotted on hardware info platform

Last year, Samsung did not introduce the Galaxy Tab A10 series, skipping a generation in its budget tablet lineup. As a result, the Galaxy Tab A11 series will arrive as the successor to the Tab A9 lineup. Ahead of launch, we have spotted the base Tab A11 with model SM-X135F on a hardware info app (thanks @KeepUPwithOneUI for the tip).

The listing reveals a display resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels, so Samsung is sticking to modest screen quality in its budget tablet. Furthermore, under the hood, the company will equip the Tab A11 with MediaTek’s Helio G99 chipset paired with at least 4GB of RAM. Interestingly, this is not the first time we have heard this — a few days ago, a Geekbench listing of the device also suggested the same.

This is the same chipset as found in the predecessor, which is quite disappointing for users hoping for a performance improvement. The processor is built on a 6nm node and uses an octa-core CPU configuration: 2 Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2 GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz. It features a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, which should run casual games smoothly, but nothing groundbreaking.

A previous report suggested that the Galaxy Tab A11 will pack a 5,100 mAh battery with support for 15W wired fast charging. If true, this is the same battery capacity and charging speed as the Galaxy Tab A9. On the software front, it will run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box. We should learn more about the budget tablet in the coming weeks.
