Galaxy S26 Ultra thickness and weight revealed, and how it compares to the S25 Ultra

There have been plenty of rumors, each claiming to have the final numbers. Now that the figures are official, we no longer have to rely on them. Sigh. The Galaxy S26 Ultra measures 7.9mm in thickness, which is 0.3mm less than its predecessor (8.2mm). At 214 grams, it is also lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra (218 grams).

Numbers alone rarely justify the difference, but they do give you a clearer idea of what to expect. In practice, you really need to place the Galaxy S26 Ultra next to the Galaxy S25 Ultra to see it. Below, you can see both phones placed atop and next to each other, which paints a much clearer picture.

Additionally, the other two siblings, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+, measure 7.2mm and 7.3mm in thickness. In terms of weight, they come in at 167 grams and 190 grams, respectively.
