Samsung will lift the curtain on the Galaxy S26 series in early 2026. This time around, there won’t be a Plus variant. Instead, the lineup will feature the Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. As the launch draws nearer, a well-known tipster has shared a render revealing the cosmetic tweaks coming to the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s S Pen.

For starters, this is definitely good news. Samsung has, time and again, assured us that the S Pen is here to stay, but since the company removed its Bluetooth features in Galaxy S25 Ultra citing that not many people used them, the future of the S Pen still feels a little uncertain. But I digress.

Samsung may have reshaped the S Pen to complement the Galaxy S26 Ultra

Ice Universe has shared a look at the cosmetic changes coming to the S Pen that will ship with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. You should know that Samsung is giving the Galaxy S26 Ultra a much rounder design compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra (review), which itself was the first in the series to ditch the boxy look. As a result, the new S Pen now appears curvier at the end, complementing the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s design.

That said, a few details about the Galaxy S26 Ultra are still under wraps. Qualcomm has already unveiled its new chipset, and Samsung’s presence confirms its plans, yet rumors of the Exynos 2600 continue to circulate. Still, it seems more likely that Samsung will reserve the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for the flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra, while using the Exynos 2600 in the Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Edge in select markets.
