Galaxy S26 Ultra Leak Reveals Larger Display and Thinner Bezels

The next-gen Galaxy S lineup is still several months away, but leaks have already started to pick up pace. A fresh leak claims that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a slightly larger screen paired with impressively slim bezels. If true, users can expect an even more immersive viewing experience.
New leak hints at a slightly larger display for the Galaxy S26 Ultra
Samsung is reportedly planning to shake up its 2026 flagship lineup — it may discontinue the Plus model and integrate the Edge model into the main lineup as its replacement. The base Galaxy S26 is rumored to feature a 6.27-inch display, while the Galaxy S26 Edge may sport a 6.66-inch screen. As for the Ultra model, it could sport a large 6.89-inch display.
Well-known tipster @UniverseIce recently backed up these numbers and shed more light on the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s screen size. While the next-gen Ultra will see only a 0.03-inch increase in screen size (S25 Ultra has a 6.86-inch display), the device should still feel more expansive. The reason is that Samsung is expected to achieve this by shrinking the surrounding bezels.
According to the tipster, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may retain the same body width as its predecessor, around 77.6mm. This suggests that Samsung has managed to expand the screen size without making the phone wider. The bezels on the S26 Ultra could be as narrow as 1.15mm. “No more than 1.2mm — an extremely slim design,” the tipster noted.
As for thickness, a previous report revealed that the upcoming Ultra flagship will be under 8mm — a notable reduction over the S25 Ultra, which measures 8.2mm thick. With a slim design, narrower bezels, and a slightly larger screen, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may deliver a more immersive flagship experience. We expect to learn more details in the coming months as developments progress.
