Galaxy S26 Launch Date All But Confirmed as February 25

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 launch timeline is no longer a mystery. While the company has yet to make an official announcement, a trusted industry source has now backed the February 25, 2026 date that has been circulating for more than two months. The leaker is rarely wrong, so unless Samsung changes plans at the last minute, there is little reason to expect a different launch date.
Trusted leaker confirms Galaxy S26 launch date
Whispers about a February 25 launch date for Samsung’s 2026 flagships have been circulating for over two months. Despite a few optimistic claims of a January Unpacked, the dominant narrative from supply-chain watchers and Korean publications was that the company had pushed its flagship event back by roughly five weeks this year (it took place on January 22 last year).
Now, we have confirmation from Evan Blass, widely regarded as the GOAT of smartphone leakers. “The date of 25 February is 100% correct. You can take it to the bank,” @evleaks posted on X. Blass has one of the cleanest track records in the industry, and when he speaks this definitively, it usually signals that the final details are locked.
As usual, we expect three flagship models: Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. There has been some chatter around a potential early launch of the Ultra model, but that looks unlikely. The upcoming Unpacked event, expected to take place in San Francisco, USA, may also bring the Galaxy Buds 4 series. No other major products are in the pipeline, though.
If Samsung follows its usual pattern, Galaxy S26 phones should be available for pre-order immediately after the launch event. General sales may begin about two weeks later.
