Galaxy S25’s Next One UI 8 Beta Update Coming Soon, Samsung Confirms

Samsung has begun the second wave of its One UI 8 beta program, pushing updates to the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6. At the same time, the company is gearing up for the fifth beta build for the Galaxy S25 series, which was part of the first wave that launched in late June. The new update will land next week, an official notice reveals.

A notice in the Samsung Members app reveals that One UI 8 Beta 5 for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra is scheduled for rollout next week (via @Alfaturk16). The new build incorporates feedback gathered from current beta testers, suggesting that it will be the final beta release before the stable update. Samsung has already confirmed a stable rollout in September, though we do not have an exact release date.

The last beta update for the Galaxy S25 trio focused on improving stability rather than adding new features. Since then, Samsung has outlined its broader One UI 8 release plan, aiming for a stable public rollout next month. Ahead of that, the company plans to iron out the final kinks. If the next beta release proves reliable enough, we may not have to wait long for the stable version.
