Samsung will launch its upcoming Galaxy S25 FE earlier than usual. While early leaks have painted a full picture of its specs sheet, the phone’s pricing remains under wraps. However, a new report recently shed some light on its pricing, though the exact figure is still unknown. The phone may come with the same price tag as its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 FE, or see a slight bump.

Samsung’s possible pricing plan for the Galaxy S25 FE

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 family is gearing up to welcome its new member, the Galaxy S25 FE. Unsurprisingly, this will arrive as a quasi-flagship phone, meaning it will sit between the flagship and mid-range models. With a handful of key upgrades, the S25 FE is all set to deliver flagship-like features without reaching the premium price tag.

According to a report from FNNews, Samsung will keep the price of the Galaxy S25 FE under 1 million KRW in its home country. Pointing to last year’s Galaxy S24 FE price of 946,000 KRW, the publication suggests that we may see either the same price tag or a slight increase. Hopefully, other markets will follow a similar pricing strategy.

Speaking of the US market, the Galaxy S24 FE hit retail shelves with a starting price of $649. If the latest reports turn out to be true, we can expect the Galaxy S25 FE to debut in a similar price range, making it a solid option for those looking for a near-flagship experience. That said, if the price increases even slightly (by $50, for example), it might disappoint fans.

A slimmer and lighter design

The Galaxy S25 FE will feature the Exynos 2400 chipset, which is basically the overclocked version of the Exynos 2400e inside the S24 FE. The former chip’s prime CPU core is clocked at 3.2 GHz while the latter is 3.1 GHz. We may see an upgrade in the self-camera segment — a 12MP shooter instead of the 10MP unit found in the predecessor.

The device is said to come with a thinner and lighter profile, but not without compromise. It will reportedly pack a 4500 mAh battery, which is 200 mAh lower than the Galaxy S24 FE’s (4700 mAh). As far as the launch is concerned, the publication says September 19 as the release date, at least in the domestic market.
