Galaxy S23 Also Gets November 2025 Update in More Regions

Samsung’s fantastic week keeps getting better. The company is continuing its rapid rollout of the November 2025 security patch, with the Galaxy S23 series now receiving the update in more regions. Like the Galaxy S25 lineup, the 2023 flagships are picking up this month’s security fixes in Europe and India. Other global markets should join the party soon.
November update for the Galaxy S23 series expands to more markets
This week, Samsung released its November security update for all flagship models launched since 2022. After an initial rollout in Korea, the company is now bringing the update to global markets. The Galaxy S25 series recently received the patches in India and Europe, and the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra are the next in the pipeline.
The newest firmware for these phones carries the build version EYK2. The download size sits at around 406MB, though it may vary depending on the model and region. The update includes 45 fixes targeting vulnerabilities across Android and One UI. Of course, not every patch applies to the Galaxy S23 lineup, but several do, so install the update as soon as possible.
If you haven’t received an automatic notification yet, you can check for the update manually. Head to Settings > Software update > Download and install, and your phone will search Samsung’s servers for the latest OTA package. Since the Galaxy S23 series doesn’t support seamless updates, you need to wait through the installation process before the phone restarts.
The November 2025 security update should soon be available for more Galaxy devices globally. We will let you know as Samsung drops the update for additional models. Meanwhile, the company is actively working on One UI 8.5, its next major feature update. The new version is expected to debut with the Galaxy S26 series in early 2026.
