November Update for Galaxy S25 Goes Global: Europe, India and More

Samsung users have plenty to be happy about this week. The company has pushed out multiple updates across its mobile lineup, ranging from new features to essential security patches. What started as a region-limited rollout is now expanding worldwide, with the Galaxy S25 series picking up the November 2025 security update in more markets.
Galaxy S25’s latest security update expands to more regions
Samsung usually releases new updates in its home market, South Korea. Depending on the model, a global release may take days or weeks. This time, the company has quickly expanded its November 2025 update for the Galaxy S25 series to other regions. The latest firmware is now reaching users across Europe, India, and other markets, with the rest of the world likely to join soon.
The new release arrives with firmware version S938BXXS7BYK3 and weighs in at 569.89MB for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Other models should get a similar-sized update. The official changelog confirms that the update is all about the latest security fixes. The November security release for Galaxy devices addresses over 40 vulnerabilities, including both Android OS-level patches from Google and Samsung’s own security enhancements.
As usual, the update is rolling out over the air. Galaxy S25 owners can check for it manually by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If an update shows up, tap Update to download the package. Now, wait until the system downloads the file and installs it in the background. You then need to restart the device to complete the installation process.
Alongside monthly security updates, Samsung is deep into the development of One UI 8.5, the next major upgrade for eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Leaked internal builds have already revealed several UI refinements and fresh features. Expect more leaks to surface before its official debut with the Galaxy S26 series in early 2026.
