Galaxy App Booster Is Now Compatible With One UI 8.5

The Galaxy S26 series may launch in about a month or so, and that will also mark the official debut of One UI 8.5. As the date gets closer, the company is making sure all these apps are supported from day one and is updating them accordingly. The latest is Galaxy App Booster, part of Good Guardians, which is now compatible with One UI 8.5.
Samsung updates Galaxy App Booster with support for One UI 8.5!
Samsung is now rolling out Galaxy App Booster v8.5.09, which is yet another app to receive One UI 8.5 compatibility. It comes shortly after Samsung updated a bunch of other Good Lock modules and apps. The official changelog doesn’t reveal anything beyond One UI 8.5 support, which is based on Android 16 QPR2. Until now, App Booster was among the remaining utilities that hadn’t been officially aligned with the beta software.
Galaxy App Booster focuses on improving how apps run over time rather than delivering instant speed boosts. Instead of working like a typical cleaner or RAM manager, it runs quietly in the background and re-optimizes apps using Android’s own compilation system. It looks at how often and how you use your apps, then tweaks how their code is prepared so they can open and run more smoothly.
Because it works this way, the results can differ from phone to phone. Devices with lots of installed apps or heavier daily use may see more noticeable gains. Meanwhile, lighter users might only notice small changes. Samsung has previously said performance can improve by up to 15% in some cases.
The Galaxy App Booster v8.5.09 is now available on the Galaxy Store. You can check for it manually in the Updates section. As with other Good Guardians modules, availability can vary by region.
