Galaxy A36, Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A54 also Get One UI 8 Beta

Samsung is on a roll today. After launching One UI 8 Beta programs for the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy S23 series earlier in the day, the company has now kicked off beta testing of its Android 16 update on three more mid-range devices β the Galaxy A36, Galaxy A35, and Galaxy A54. No other mid-range model is eligible for the Beta program.
The One UI 8 Beta program is live for Galaxy A36, A35, and A54
The Android 16-based One UI 8 beta update is currently available for the Galaxy A36, Galaxy A35, and Galaxy A54 in India. The update carries the build version ZYHD for the A36 and ZYH6 for the other two models. Samsung may soon launch the beta program in Korea and a few other markets. If you own any of these devices and want to try the update early, you can enroll through the Samsung Members app.
Simply log in with the same Samsung account used on your phone, look for the One UI 8 Beta banner, and follow the instructions to register. After agreeing to the terms, head to Settings > Software update > Download and install to grab the beta package. Once downloaded, tap Install now, and your phone will reboot into the new software.
Alongside the new features and design refinements of One UI 8, the update also includes the September 2025 security patch, which improves stability and addresses multiple vulnerabilities. The Galaxy A55, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A35 are the four mid-range models eligible for the beta update.
With the Galaxy S25 series set to get the stable One UI 8 update later this month, the beta program for mid-range devices ensures a smooth transition for a broader user base in the months ahead. Samsung is expected to kick off the stable rollout for other models in October, so not a long wait now before One UI 8 becomes available widely.
