Samsung is gearing up for One UI 8.5, its next major software release. The company has already started testing the update for several Galaxy devices. Models like the Galaxy A34, Galaxy M16, Galaxy Tab A9, and the newly launched Galaxy Tab A11+ are among the latest devices to join the One UI 8.5 testing phase.

Galaxy A34, M16, Tab A9 and Tab A11+ spotted with One UI 8.5 test builds

On the smartphone side, the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy M16 have now entered the One UI 8.5 internal testing phase. The Galaxy A54 had already joined testing a few days ago, and now its sibling, the Galaxy A34, has followed. The Galaxy A34 has appeared with a One UI 8.5 build on Samsung’s test servers in Korea. It carries the firmware version A346NKSUCFZA1. As usual, this does not suggest an immediate rollout. It simply confirms that Samsung has started testing the update internally for the device.

Samsung has also begun One UI 8.5 testing for the Galaxy M16. The device has surfaced on test servers in Korea with the build number M166SKSU4CZA6.

On the tablet side, the Galaxy Tab A9 and the recently launched Galaxy Tab A11+ have also joined One UI 8.5 testing. The Galaxy Tab A9 launched with Android 13 and later received One UI 8 based on Android 16. Now, the tablet has appeared with a One UI 8.5 build on servers in India, Europe, and Turkey. The build version spotted for the Wi-Fi variant is X110XXU7DZA1. One UI 8.5 will most likely be the final feature update for the tablet.

The Galaxy Tab A11+ launched with One UI 8 out of the box, and Samsung has already started One UI 8.5 testing for it. The Tab A11+ Wi-Fi carries the firmware version X230XXU2BZA1 and has appeared on servers in regions such as India, Europe, Korea, and Turkey.

One UI 8.5 is a feature packed update and is expected to debut next month alongside the Galaxy S26 series. A few weeks after the launch, Samsung should begin rolling out the update to eligible devices, with most of the rollout expected to wrap up by early June. If your Galaxy device is eligible, its One UI 8.5 test build should surface soon.
