Finally! One UI 8 Stable is No More Locked to Beta Regions

Samsung’s One UI 8 stable update for the Galaxy S25 series is now rolling out broadly, including in regions where the company didn’t launch beta programs. The expansion begins in Europe, but S25 users in other markets should also get the Android 16 update soon. Older Galaxy models are expected to receive One UI 8 starting later this month.
Samsung kicks off a broader rollout of One UI 8
A few days ago, Samsung released the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and S25 Edge in Korea. At the time, the company gave no timeline for other markets, leaving many users uncertain. The rollout has since expanded to beta-supported regions such as India, Germany, and the UK, though users in non-beta markets were still waiting their turn.
Thankfully, the wait wasn’t long. One UI 8 is now available for the Galaxy S25 lineup widely across Europe, beyond the initial beta markets. Samsung is pushing an OTA file weighing over 4GB, though the exact size varies depending on the market and model. The September 2025 security patch is part of the package, though the update is primarily about One UI 8.
Based on Android 16, this update brings a mix of design polish, performance enhancements, and smarter AI-powered tools. One UI 8 introduces cleaner visuals, smoother transitions, and deeper customization options to make the interface feel more fluid and personal. It also focuses on efficiency and security, delivering a smarter and more reliable experience for Galaxy users.
With a global rollout now underway for the Galaxy S25 lineup, Samsung should soon start pushing One UI 8 to other Galaxy models. The Galaxy S24 series, Fold 6, and Flip 6 should be the next in line, followed by 2023 flagships and mid-range models. We will keep you posted as One UI 8 reaches more Galaxy smartphones and tablets worldwide.
