Samsung Health has long been one of the most popular wellness apps, offering everything from workout tracking to sleep analysis. And it’s about to get better with a new AI-powered Health Assistant. Built on Galaxy AI’s Health Assist, this tool goes beyond personalized insights and guidance. It can answer your health-related questions in real time and provide actionable steps to keep you on track.

Samsung readies Health Assistant to help you understand your health better

Health Assistant is an AI-powered companion within Samsung Health. Instead of just logging steps or calories, it actively engages with you, answering health-related queries and suggesting actionable steps tailored to your personal fitness plan. It’s like a personal coach, nutrition guide, and fitness motivator rolled into one. You can ask it how to improve stamina, get better sleep, or recover after a workout, and it provides clear, structured advice.

It can also recommend workouts based on your goals — whether that’s building strength, losing weight, or improving flexibility. All the answers and recommendations are based on your current health trends tracked by Samsung Health. One neat addition is that Health Assistant can read its answers aloud, letting you carry on with chores while listening to fitness tips and recommendations.

Granted, the results aren’t always perfect, but that’s expected at this stage. Samsung is still working on the tool, and it’ll get better over time. Still, it’s important to note that this isn’t a diagnostic tool. Samsung positions it strictly as a general wellness guide, not a replacement for professional medical advice. Think of it as a smart, always-available partner for your health journey rather than a doctor.

What sets Health Assistant apart is the personalization. While most health apps offer pre-programmed tips, this AI adapts its advice to your lifestyle and goals. It’s like chatting with a trainer who actually remembers your progress and adjusts recommendations accordingly.

For now, Samsung hasn’t made Health Assistant available to the public. The feature appears to be in testing, though it already works smoothly, suggesting that a wider rollout could be coming sooner rather than later. This hidden AI could easily become the next big feature in digital wellness. We will let you know once it rolls out publicly.
