The latest beta release for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra carries firmware version ZYFA. The OTA file weighs over 1GB for the Ultra model, though it varies depending on the model and region. Samsung has bundled the June security patch with One UI 8 Beta 3, so now new security fixes. The update does contain a bunch of bug fixes for a more stable and reliable performance, though.
As of this writing, we can confirm the availability of the new One UI 8 beta update for the Galaxy S25 trio in India, Germany, South Korea, and the UK. Samsung may release the latest beta build for registered Galaxy S25 users in Poland and the US anytime now. You can check for updates from the Settings app.
One UI 8 Beta 3 brings a series of important bug fixes and usability improvements. According to official release notes, Samsung has resolved an overlap issue between the status bar in the Recents app and the running app menu under specific NaviStar conditions. A bug that prevented keyboard input on the Secure Folder PIN screen after a reboot has also been fixed.
Additionally, the update improves performance by reducing intermittent loading delays when accessing the Modes and Routines menu. Text input issues have been addressed as well, including swipe-to-type errors when using gestures and S Pen-to-text input glitches. A back screen preview feature has been added to the Labs (Laboratory) section for experimental features.
Samsung also updated several system apps to enhance overall software stability, along with various other under-the-hood improvements. The company is internally testing One UI 8 on a bunch of other devices as it gears up for the stable release in July.
