Another Report Claims a Sub-$800 Price for Galaxy Z Flip FE

Samsung aims to make Galaxy foldables more accessible with the introduction of the Galaxy Z Flip FE later this year. The first Fan Edition foldable may go official as early as July alongside its pricier siblings, the Flip 7 and Fold 7. Earlier leaks have hinted at a fairly affordable starting price for the Galaxy Z Flip FE, and another source recently backed the information.
Galaxy Z Flip FE could retail under $800, making it the cheapest Samsung foldable yet
According to a new report from Korean media, Samsung will price the Galaxy Z Flip FE at around 1 million Korean won in the domestic market. The amount roughly converts to $735, which is in line with the previously quoted starting price of $799. To recall, the Korean firm launched the Galaxy Z Flip 6 with a price tag of around $1,050 in Korea, but the device retailed for $1,099 in the US (and much higher in some other markets).
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 should cost the same, if not more — there’s little to no chance of a price cut for the 2025 model. So, at $799, the Flip FE makes a great buy for anyone looking to enter the foldable space without paying a premium. The Fan Edition model is largely a rebadged Flip 6 with an Exynos 2400 processor and One UI 8 out of the box. It’s shaping up to be a better choice than a discounted Flip 6.
While the exact launch date is still under wraps, Samsung might launch these foldables in the first half of July. The upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, likely happening in New York, should also bring the Galaxy Watch 8 series. With One UI 8 set to debut alongside the new foldables, the second half of the year looks promising for Galaxy fans. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the official announcement.
