Samsung is reportedly developing an AI-powered Audio Eraser feature. This tool might appear in the next One UI 7.0 beta update or launch alongside the rumored Video Object Eraser in One UI 7.1, expected to debut with the Galaxy S25 series early next year.

Galaxy phones might get powerful audio and video editing tools with One UI 7

Samsung recently launched One UI 7.0 beta programs for the Galaxy S24 series. The Android 15-based update brings a myriad of new features and enhancements. However, some rumored features or changes are still missing, including the AI-powered Video Object Eraser. Rumors suggest Samsung now aims to release it with One UI 7.1 next year.

It appears the company is also preparing a powerful audio editing tool. Noted tipster Ice Universe recently claimed that Samsung has an Audio Eraser feature in the works (via X). It lets you remove unwanted noise in videos by intelligently adjusting the wind volume, human voice, and other sounds. The AI tool should also work for audio files.

This feature should arrive with one of the upcoming One UI 7 updates. However, it’s unclear whether Samsung will roll out Audio Eraser with a One UI 7.0 beta build or keep it for One UI 7.1. The latter will run out of the box on the Galaxy S25 series, offering a host of new AI features and other enhancements. Since both Audio Eraser and Video Object Eraser are AI tools, we won’t be surprised if they debut with the Galaxy S25 lineup.

Interestingly, rumors suggest Video Object Eraser will be exclusive to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. If true, it could be highly resource-intensive, potentially limiting its compatibility with other models. Hopefully, the same won’t apply to the Audio Eraser feature. Samsung is expected to roll out the second One UI 7.0 beta update later this week, but whether it includes any new AI features remains to be seen.
