Galaxy S25’s March 2026 Security Update Expands to More Regions

It’s been a few days since Samsung started rolling out the March 2026 security update to the Galaxy S25 series. At first, it was limited to the company’s home turf, Korea, but Samsung is now expanding the rollout to more regions for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
March 2026 security update for Galaxy S25 series now available in Europe and India
As spotted by reliable update tracker Tarun Vats, Samsung is now rolling out the March 2026 security update to the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra in Europe and India. The build versions in question are S931BXXS8BZC1, S936BXXS8BZC1, and S938BXXS8BZC1. Now that the international rollout has begun, you can expect the update to reach your device in the coming days.

Samsung’s March 2026 security update includes patches for over 67 vulnerabilities. Of these, 60 are Android-related fixes, while the rest are specific to One UI. Out of the seven Samsung-specific vulnerabilities, two are said to be high severity. So once the update is available on your device, you should download and install it.
You can check if the update is available on your Galaxy S25 by following these steps. Head to Settings > Software update. If you see an update available, tap Download and install. Once the update file is downloaded, tap Install now. It’ll take some time, after which your device will reboot with the latest update installed.
Apart from this, Samsung is actively rolling out the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series. So far, depending on your region, Samsung has released up to six beta builds for the Galaxy S25 trio. The Galaxy S25 Edge and Galaxy S25 FE are not part of the beta program and will likely receive the stable update directly, skipping beta altogether.
