OPPO Pokes Fun at Galaxy Z Fold 7 During Find N6 Launch Event

2026 is going to be an important year for Samsung’s foldables. Apple is reportedly set to launch its first foldable, and the company is said to have exclusively chosen Samsung Display for it. But it won’t be the only competition Samsung faces. OPPO has now launched the Find N6, a book-style foldable that will compete with the Galaxy Z Fold 8.
Galaxy Z Fold 8 rival OPPO Find N6 arrives with 200MP camera, 6,000mAh battery
At the Find N6 launch event earlier today in China, OPPO poked fun at Samsung by showing the Galaxy Z Fold 7 during the keynote. One of the headline features of the OPPO Find N6 is its crease-free display, which the company seems quite confident about. During the presentation, OPPO demonstrated the crease differences between the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Find N6. The contrast was obvious.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 was taken out of the box and kept folded for about an hour. When it was opened again, the display showed a noticeable crease. The OPPO Find N6, on the other hand, was unfolded later and its screen appeared smooth, with no obvious crease at all. OPPO attributes this to a redesigned hinge system paired with Auto-Smoothing Flex Glass, which helps minimize visible folding marks.

Under the hood, it comes with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage. It runs Android 16-based ColorOS 16. As for cameras, there is a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens. On the front, there are 20MP selfie cameras on both the inner and cover displays. It also packs a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
